It's hard to believe, but Ivin has already been with us for three months! He is so much fun and brings a lot of joy and happiness to our lives. Everyone says this, and we'll join right in by saying that it's hard to imagine what we did before he joined us and it seems like he's always been with us.
(The 'overall outfit' pictures were taken by Jeremy in Ivin's room. They turned out really cute. The rocking chair belonged to Ivin's Great Grandma Hill)He's starting to use his hands a lot more and is aware of them. He holds onto toys and reaches for toys that are dangling in front of him.
He also spends a lot of time with his hands clasped on his little chest. . .
. . . or with a fist stuffed into his mouth. He can get the entire thing in there. Aunt Katie would be proud!
He's been sleeping through the night for about a month now and is starting to scoot around in his bed. We'll go in to check on him and find him all kicked out of his blanket with his little body moved from the original position we laid him down in. Like so:
He is also becoming more vocal and is really using his voice well to gurgle and coo and has even graced our listening ears with the occasional laugh.
Ahh, the joys of parenthood!
