Happy Easter

Yes, Happy Easter indeed. This picture of our first Easter together, yes the one above of two haggard parents and a discontent little one would happily describe most of our week. It has been a rough go, but a happy one. Little Ivin is having some great days, and some days where he lets us know that something is awry in his little world.

Here are a few things I did this week.
  1. We finally found a mattress to fit the crib mommy and daddy bought me 6 months ago. Apparently they got quite the run around and daddy had to get a little feisty with the people at the store, but we found the mattress in the back lot somewhere and got it shipped to us.
  2. Being held by all of my grandparents on Easter. This was quite nice.
  3. Spending some quality time with Uncle Jax (the Register's Dog). He came over and played all day one day while his family went to visit some friends in Idaho.
  4. First Sacrament meeting. I didn't really catch much of the people talking. I was snuggled up next to daddy for the whole meeting.
  5. First preppy golf/Easter outfit - I really look good in it. Watch out Ivy League Ladies, here I come!
  6. Some great walks with mommy out to visit Aunt Kayla at the eye doctor's office.
  7. Snuggling with Daddy in the baby bjorn on some walks, on the toilet, and at church.
  8. I started to smile a lot more this week, I've been a pretty happy kid despite all of my crying this week.
  9. I went to the Yogurt Stop with my best friend Benjer. We were supposed to be born on the same day, but he decided to come two weeks early and I didn't want to leave heaven so I came two weeks late.
  10. My one month birthday. It was pretty low key. We just hung out at home and ate rice and chicken. Mommy made strawberry shortcake, but her and daddy said I wasn't quite big enough to eat any yet.

  1. Sorry the week was a little rough.
    But he looks cute.
I hope this week is a little better on the crying.
It's a tough deal, for sure.
Glad you're getting out on walks.

  6. Kelly,
I live in a cave. I just accidentally found out you have Ivin, now that he's a month old! Also am dumb about blogs, dunno how to just send you an email, so am posting. Have a couple of questions, one of which is, now that you're a month in, what are you discovering you need? --Eden G. holyspaam @ gmail . com .
